Tried to create a virtual server which resulted in:
Creating administration group redmine ..
Creating administration user redmine ..
Failed to create virtual server : setquota: Quota file not found or has wrong format. setquota: Not all specified mountpoints are using quota.
Tried to check for the quotafile and got this:
root@heaven:~# quotacheck -avugm
quotacheck: Scanning /dev/sdb1 [/] quotacheck: lstat Cannot stat `//home/nitin/.gvfs': Permission denied
Guess you'd better run fsck first !
Resolved on Ubuntu 10.04
Go to tty1 and from there:

httpd-devel-2.2.3-53.el5.centos.1.i386 from installed has depsolving problems
–> Missing Dependency: httpd = 2.2.3-53.el5.centos.1 is needed by package httpd-devel-2.2.3-53.el5.centos.1.i386 (installed)
The problem is clear from the very last line. This is a x64 system and httpd-devel.i386 is present by default. Did a ‘yum -y remove http-devel.i386’ and it solved the problem.
